Library Remote Services
We can offer the following remote services for users.
Scan and send
Use the request form via your Library Account to request a scan of items held in print in the library. There are limits on the number of requests you can place, and the total content which can be scanned from any one item, so if you are unsure of the items you want to use, or the specific pages you require one of our other services will help you be specific.
Virtual information skills consultations
Book an online tutorial in research methodologies with the College Support Team or your College Librarian to hone your information gathering skills and learn how to efficiently locate the materials you need saving you time and improving the quality of resources used in your study or research.
Virtual Reading Room
You can use the virtual reading room services to view items held in the main collections to help you decide if the titles are of use to you, and if so which pages you may want scanned for you. If you are involved in developing courses it can also help you specify section to digitise via Reading Lists @ GLA for your students.
