Binding: England, 20th-century blind-tooled brown goatskin, with new endpapers and flyleaves, replacing an 18th-century half calf binding with marbled paper over paste boards;  restored and rebound Dec. 1967 by Anthony Gardner, whose binder’s note is on the rear free endpaper;  original flyleaves and pastedowns preserved and bound in;  pastedowns show offsetting from parchment manuscript guards, which have not been preserved.   Size:  202 x 142 mm.
Leaf size: 194 x 135 mm.
Annotations: Signatures a2 and b2 (omitted by the printer) added in red ink, probably by the rubricator, at foot of page (both cropped);  two 19th/20th-century prices “10/6” and “15/-” in pencil on the original front pastedown;  three 19th/20th-century annotations on the original rear pastedown - a small circle and the letter “b” underlined (both in pencil) and the number “4” (in ink).
Decoration: Capital strokes and paragraph marks supplied in red throughout.
