William Euing (1788-1874), insurance broker, Glasgow:  source unknown;  probably acquired 14 July 1841 - “14.7/41” in pencil in Euing’s hand on front pastedown together with a price code “ba/-”.
University of Glasgow:  presented by Euing in 1872 according to University Library bookplate on front pastedown.
Binding: Germany, 19th-century half pigskin, speckled paper-covered boards;  gold-tooled leather title labels on spine;  sprinkled red-edged leaves. Size:  297 x 206 mm.
Leaf size: 290 x 199 mm.
Annotations: A folio number “cxxxiii” at centre of top margin of 14/2r (f. 134r);  manuscript notes by William Euing relating to this edition (including a full list of titles of the Psalms) loosely inserted at front.
Decoration: Six-line initial “B” on 1/2r supplied in green with red pen-work decoration;  similar six-line initial “B” on 1/3r supplied in blue with red pen-work decoration;  other initials, capital strokes, paragraph marks and underlining supplied in red throughout.
Imperfections: Wanting the first and final two blank leaves.
