Provenance: Nicolas Yemeniz (1783-1871), silk manufacturer and bibliophile, Lyon:  book-label on front free endpaper with engraving of two sides of a “coin”, the obverse showing a lion between the letters “LVG” and “DVN”, the reverse showing the monogram “YEMENIZ”, with the pencil number “973” between the two;  item 973 “Exemplaire non rogné” in the sale catalogue Catalogue de la bibliothèque de M. N Yemeniz (Paris: 1867).
