Arthur, Catalogus impressorum librorum in Bibliotheca Universitatis Glasguensis (Glasguae:  1791).
Binding: Scotland, 17th-century blind-tooled calf;  covers decorated with quadruple fillets to a two-panel design;  the centre panel contains the initials ‘G’ and ‘M’ separated by a thistle tool;  the outer panel is mitred.  Original spine covering perished;  two brass catch plates on rear cover;  binding restored by Anthony Gardner, whose binder’s apologia, dated 1964, is written on rear free endpaper;  original red-edging of leaves retained and slightly re-tinted.  Size: 272 × 190 mm.
Leaf size: 265 x 182 mm.
Annotations: Many of the woodcuts have manuscript captions in Scots in more than one 17th-century hand e.g. “The quihittret” (D8v), “The pertrik” (K6r), “Ane wedder” (G1r).
Decoration: Occasional initials supplied in brown ink.
Imperfections: Wanting leaves a1.8, a2.7, b1, A1, B4, E3.4, ee1.6 and the whole of quires f, r, aa and bb.
