University of Glasgow:  Hunterian bequest 1807;  Hunterian Museum bookplate on front pastedown, with former shelfmark “Aw.1.9”.
Binding: 18th-century gold-tooled red sheep;  covers tooled to a four panel design using triple and double fillets, two rolls and three different ornaments;  gold-tooled spine;  marbled endpapers;  gilt-edged leaves.   Size:  325 x 233 mm.
Leaf size: 316 x 226 mm.
Annotations: Marginal annotations in 16th-century hands from a2r-b2v with occasional interlinear corrections in the same section;  leaves a2-b4 foliated in a 17th-century hand “1”-“11” and the same leaves have a running heading “Liber” (versos) and “.1.” (rectos) - except for b4r which is numbered “ij.”;  17th-century ownership inscription almost completely excised at top margin of a2r;  inventory number or shelfmark “His. Rom 256” in ink in an 18th-century hand on first front flyleaf.
Decoration: None.
Imperfections: Wanting a1, the blank leaf s8, and quires A-B8 C6 i.e. the Index of Marlianus;  stubs of all missing leaves visible – showing they were removed after the present binding.
