Note: Quire & (&8-1 in GW, Bod-inc and BMC) retains the blank leaf &8.  At the foot of a5r is a blind impression of the first two lines of type of a4v.

Binding: 18th-century speckled calf;  covers decorated with a border of triple gold fillets and a blind floral roll with a separate foliate tool at each inner corner;  marbled endpapers;  sprinkled red-edged leaves;  rebacked in 19th/20th century.  Size:  305 x 215 mm.
Leaf size: 294 x 201 mm.
Annotations: 18th-century price in pencil “- 15 -” written below the excised top corner of the front flyleaf (though insufficient evidence to make a connection to Thomas Osborne’s frequent practice of re-pricing his Harleian books, since not found in any of the five volumes of his Catalogus bibliothecae Harleianae).
