Annotations: Very occasional marginal annotations, nota marks and underlining in a 16th-century hand;  extract from an unidentified English bookseller’s catalogue (item 102, price deleted) mounted on front flyleaf of first volume.
Decoration: Initials supplied throughout in red or blue, occasionally in green, some with marginal flourishes;  running headings and chapter headings underlined in red;  capital strokes in red in chapter headings;  pen-and-ink drawing of an eight-petalled flower on 50/8v (f. 409v).
Imperfections: Wanting the blank leaf 1/1.
