Binding: 18th-century speckled calf, decorated with a blind-roll border within double gold fillets;  rebacked in plain calf with black leather title label.   Size:  242 x 172 mm.

Annotations: Leaves foliated in ink in an early hand: “1-10”, “12-25”;  traces of early manuscript signatures;  early marginal annotations on 4/1r (f.27r) and 5/4v (f.38v);  pointing hand on 3/10v (f.26v).

Imperfections: Wanting gatherings 1 and 2 (which contain the 'De arte cognoscendi venena' of Arnoldus de Villa Nova and the 'De epidemia et peste' of Valascus de Tarenta), 4/2 (f.28) and the blank 3/1 (f.17).
