This special event will launch the new anthology 'Miscellaneous: Writing inspired by The Hunterian', edited by Hunterian Associates and writers in residence Nikki Cameron, Defne Çizakça and Sherezade García Rangel.
Come and join us for readings, a glass of wine and the chance to talk to the writers about objects from The Hunterian collection that inspired them. Admission is free and all are welcome.
The Hunterian Associates Programme provides a platform for postgraduate researchers to share knowledge and develop public engagement skills. This anthology is the culmination of one of the first Hunterian Associates projects which began in March 2012. Having selected from a wide range of objects in the museum stores, the writers produced their own works and hosted a series of writing events to encourage others to get involved in creative writing.
Copies of the anthology will be available to purchase priced £3.00. All proceeds will be donated to the UNICEF Syria Winter Appeal.
