Young EURA Award

  • The inaugural ‘Young EURA’ award for the best paper submitted to the conference for students, PhD candidates or persons who obtained a PhD degree not earlier than 2006 and who are under 35 years old on 1 March 2007.

Special Issues

Urban Research and Practice

  • A Special Issue of the new journal Urban Research and Practice, journal of the European Urban Research Association on the theme of  'The Vital City', will draw on the best papers submitted to the conference.

Town Planning Review

Town Planning Review, a leading international journal in its field and with a readership in over sixty countries worldwide, has commissioned a Special Issue to be published in mid 2008 containing a selection of some of the best papers presented at the EURA Conference.

It is intended to concentrate the selection of papers from those presented within the following three EURA tracks:

  • Real estate development and city planning  
  • The urban environment and ‘quality of place’    
  • Urban form, transport and sustainability
