Consulting and advice

Stephen has significant experience and success in delivering off-the-shelf and tailor-made in-service courses to school staff both off and on campus.

He has successfully created course for the state and independent (e.g. George Heriot's) sector as well as tailoring content to specific subject areas in Secondary school (e.g. Philosophical and Religious Education) and particular stages (e.g. use of 2Simple software in early years education).

He has a particular expertise in using content free software for effective teaching and learning. This allows teachers to effectively author (without needing to be a computer programmer) learning objects that can be used on desktop computers and IWB (interactive whiteboards) to support lessons which produce a high level of exploratory talk and digital resources which can facilitate independent or collaborative study within pupils.
