Resources, spaces and investment

Strategic aims:

  1. To make best use of our resources and diversify and future-proof our income streams, thereby ensuring economic sustainability and sufficient headroom to achieve our ambitions.
  2. To secure access to a range of well-maintained, accessible and appropriately equipped teaching, research, community spaces (including postgraduate research study spaces) and technologies.
  3. To improve operational alignment within the College and between the College and University services in order to deliver economies of scale, process efficiencies and appropriate support.
  4. To implement a long-term approach to staff planning and resourcing and a phased reduction in the use of casual contracts, sustained by the implementation of a new College of Arts & Humanities Workload Framework, process efficiencies and the clarification of roles and responsibilities.
