Clinical Psychologist Dr Emma Hepburn publishes second book, ‘A Toolkit for Happiness’

Glasgow graduate and Clinical Psychologist Dr Emma Hepburn (DClinPsy, 2006) has published her second book, ‘A Toolkit for Happiness’, with Quercus books.

From practical tools to help get through those extra stormy days to thought-provoking exercises for day-to-day mental wellbeing, ‘A Toolkit for Happiness’ will help readers to cultivate positive habits, better understand their emotions and put them on the path to a healthier and happier mind.

Emma’s new publication follows her previous book, ‘A Toolkit for Modern Life,’ which details her proven and practical exercises and techniques for mental wellbeing. Both books have their origins in Emma’s successful Instagram account, @thepsychologymum, which went viral during the pandemic as users looked for novel ways to care for their mental health.

On her account Emma shares doodles and drawings which explore mental health and how the brain works, and it is her trademark illustrations which bring her books to life.

The University is always proud to celebrate the achievements of our world changing alumni, and congratulates Dr Hepburn on this wonderful accomplishment.
