INTRODUCTION AND WELCOME

Dear Colleague,

FEC enables us to better understand our costs and will lead to long-term sustainability as an institution. Knowing the full economic costs of Research and Teaching will help us to manage and price those activities more effectively. This will help us to plan for long-term investment into our infrastructure to sustain the current level of activities and to develop them further.

This website provides answers to your questions re. Time Allocation Schedule (TAS), gives you the background to FEC and provides the answers to some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). You can also obtain more detailed knowledge of FEC through links on the HEFCE website (http://www.hefce.ac.uk/funding/finsustain/).

We, the FEC Project Board hope that you will find this website useful. Please feel free to contact us with your questions and concerns.
