Welcome to the Student Network
The Student Network is a University of Glasgow service that puts prospective, new and current students in touch with more experienced students, who have completed their first year of study and can:
- Answer any general queries you may have about studying at Glasgow
- Give you an insight into what to expect from your first year of study
- Offer guidance and support throughout your first year of study
To use the service you can either Register or use the Ask a Student form.

Forthcoming webchats
The Student Network is offering a series of webchats open to prospective and current students starting February the 4th from 4-6pm. If you've got some questions about studying at Glasgow or if you're looking for some advice on a particular aspect of your course login anytime between 4-6pm and we'll try to help. Student Network Newsletter
The Student Network newsletter is sent out monthly to all students who complete a registration form. The newsletter is where you'll find the most up-to-date tips and advice, from current students, on student life at Glasgow. Previous editions include information on:
- studying for exams
- finding part-time work
- work-experience/employability
