Student Entry Tariffs (2010)

Key Information:  The University will publish a minimum entry tariff of 4 Bs at Scottish Higher and 3 Bs at A level to apply across all undergraduate degree programmes for the 2010 prospectus.

For whom: Admissions officers and associated staff.  Staff setting undergraduate entry qualifications.

Summary: Minimum entry tariffs for 2010 have been agreed in the context of the University's work over the last two years to improve its student entry profile. All faculties have agreed to a published general tariff of 4 Bs at Scottish Higher and 3 Bs at A level for 2010 entry. This means that no applicant should be confirmed in any degree programme below this level.

Applicants to Psychology will be required to achieve a standard tariff which will apply regardless of the faculty of entry. The tariff for entry to fast route Honours in Engineering and Sciences will be ‘AAB’ at A level.
