Summary: EdPSC approved the recommendation that, from Session 2005-06, the University's Certificate of Basic IT Competence (CBITC) should no longer be a mandatory requirement for any postgraduate award, althoughstudy for the Certificate would remain available to any postgraduate student wishing to achieve the CBITC.
