Research and Scholarship

The Learning and Teaching Centre aims to enhance the student learning experience at the University of Glasgow through the promotion of evidence-based policy and practice.  It does so through undertaking and supporting relevant research and curriculum development projects; disseminating outcomes and facilitating networking between GU colleagues through seminars, workshops and symposia; and through offering systematic and structured continuing professional development opportunities through taught postgraduate programmes and PhD study.

LTC staff research interests include teaching, learning and assessment in HE, the student experience, higher education and society, learning and technology, information management and learning, postgraduate study and supervision, widening access and student support, inter-professional education, scholarship in higher education, and employability and work-based learning.
