Internal Clients

Internal clients are charged for the following items:

1. Duplication & Encoding
2. Music copyright (fees to the Mechanical Copyright Protection Society - MCPS). Commercial tracks are negotiable on an individual basis
3. Travel & Duty - petrol/accommodation/meals etc on location shoots
4. Digital tape stock (filming/editing and mastering)
5. Studio hires - please contact Nigel Hutchins (6322) for studio hire inquiries/bookings.

Please note that the Media Production Unit's staff normal working hours are 0900 - 1700, Monday to Friday.   If you wish to arrange out of hours filming please contact Kerr Gardiner (7117) at the earliest opportunity.

External Clients

External clients will be charged a fully costed production fee which will include the following items as relevant:

• Scripting, filming and editing fees
• Training/consultancy fees
• Duplication & Encoding
• Music copyright (fees to the Mechanical Copyright Protection Society - MCPS). Commercial tracks are negotiable on an individual basis
• Travel & Duty - petrol/accommodation/meals etc on location shoots
• Digital tape stock (filming/editing and mastering)
• Studio hires - please contact Nigel Hutchins (6322) for wet/dry studio hire inquiries/bookings.

To allow the Media Production team to provide the best possible service, please provide as much notice as possible of your needs, particularly for large productions.
