The Learning and Teaching Centre helps implement and develop the University's Learning and Teaching strategy, and identifies, assesses, and disseminates new developments and good practice to enhance the student learning experience.  We achieve this by working with colleagues throughout the University to bring about change.

Annual University of Glasgow Learning and Teaching Conference

The call for abstracts for the the 5th Annual University of Glasgow Learning and Teaching conference has closed. The conference, entitled 'Empowering student learners in Higher Education', will take place on Tuesday 17th April 2012. Registration details will be released in early February

LTC Events

The next event is a CPD workshop "The writing workshop and beyond: how the Liz Lerman Critical Response Process can be adapted within the university setting." on Wednesday 22 February. Following that is the CPD workshop "Cultures of Learning" on Thursday 15 March.

Teaching Excellence Awards

The deadline for nominations for the 2011-2012 Teaching Excellence Awards is 27 February 2012 Interviews with the 2010-2011 winners and and footage of them receiving their awards are available.

Learning and Teaching Development Fund (LTDF)

The call for bids to the 2012-13 round of the Learning and Teaching Development Fund is now available.
