Binding: 19th-century green calf decorated with two blind fillets, a small blind fleuron at each corner;  marbled endpapers;  binder’s ticket on verso of free front endpaper “J. Carss & Co., Bookbinders, 31 Argyle Street, Glasgow”.   Size:  202 x 133 mm.
Leaf size: 198 x 130 mm.
Annotations: Printed title on a1r repeated in a late 15th/early 16th-century hand at top margin;  number "3" in ink in lower margin of a1r;  pencil note “Aug 29/72  2/6” on rear free endpaper probably refers to the date and price of the Carss binding.
Decoration: None.
Imperfections: Wanting spine covering.
