This calculator allows departments to gain an estimate of costs whilst a member of staff is on Maternity Leave.

Additionally, individuals may use the calculator to gain an estimate of gross weekly earnings during their period of Maternity Leave.

This calculator uses an Excel spreadsheet that you can save to your own personal computer and is valid until March 2009. Please return to this site after that date for an updated version of the calculator.

The calculator does not take into account “Keeping In Touch” (K.I.T.) Days.

If the employee is a member of the “University of Glasgow Pension Scheme” (UGPS) formerly known as NASPS please select UGPS on the calculator for all other schemes please select USS.
