Weddings in the University Chapel

The Memorial Chapel

The University welcomes the use of the Memorial Chapel for marriages celebrated in accordance with the rites of the Christian Churches or for weddings conducted by registered Humanist celebrants.

The Memorial Chapel can seat a maximum of 320 guests. 

The Memorial Chapel can be visited every weekday from 9am until 5pm or on Saturday mornings by appointment.

Music

If you decide to hold your wedding ceremony in the Memorial Chapel, included in the fee are the services of a University organist who will play your choice of music on the organ and/or grand piano during the ceremony.

The University Chapel Choir is also available for an additional fee.

With prior arrangement, you are also welcome to engage your own musicians.

Audio equipment

Radio and fixed microphones are available for the use of your celebrant, readers and musicians.

Webcam

Chapel weddings can be recorded on your computer through the Chapel webcam. If requested, the webcam can be turned off during your wedding ceremony.
