Repacking shipbuilding plans

As part of the Scottish Business Archive, Archive Services holds numerous plans for many of the ships built on the river Clyde.  To ensure their ongoing preservation the Preservation Unit has started a long-term programme of repacking. 

The plans are rolled around a cardboard tube, placed inside a protective Tyvek® bag and then reshelved.  For more information on the ship plans that we hold, see the ship related research guides.
