Financial Records training materials
On Monday 24 November 2008, the BACS in conjunction with the Society of Archivists Scotland Region held a training day on financial records at the Museum on the Mound, Edinburgh. This training was aimed at archivists who care for collections that include financial records. the training included an overview of the history of accounting, the common types of records found and their function and look at the issues of appraisal. The day also included practical tasks to help put into practice what delegates had learned during the day.
