Add to our collections

If you think you have something that would interest us, follow these steps:

  •  Step 1 - Read our collection policy (4 pages, 50kb small_pdf_icon)  for more information to confirm the sort of material we collect.
  •  Step 2 - Read our standard terms and conditions (5 pages, 51kb small_pdf_icon)  for those wishing to deposit records with the University of Glasgow Archive Services.
  •  Step 3 - If you still think we would be interested, please complete this gift offer form (1 page, 13kb small_pdf_icon) and send it to us.

What happens next?

Your offer will be considered by our Collection Development Team, which normally meets monthly. They will contact you within 6 weeks to convey their decision.

If they decide to accept the material, you will move on to the transfer stage.

We only accept approximately half the offers we receive. Nevertheless we may still be able to put you in touch with a more suitable custodian.
