Tuition Fees for Academic Year 2015-16

Undergraduate

Annual undergraduate tuition fees for academic year 2015-16 [pdf]

Tuition fees for new RUK (rest of United Kingdom) undergraduate students

  • The fees for new students who are domiciled in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and entering the University in 2015-16 will be £9,000 per annum for all programmes apart from Nursing (the fee for Nursing will be £1,820 per annum).
  • The tuition fee for a four year degree is capped at £27,000 in total.
  • The exceptions to the fee cap are Dentistry, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine which will have a fee of £9,000 for every year of study.
  • The majority of students studying on degrees lasting more than three years will get their final year tuition fee waived. The fee-free year does not apply to advanced entry students (entry at level 2 or above) or students studying Dentistry, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.
  • If a student has a year studying abroad as part of their degree, the student will get the study abroad year for free instead of the final year.
  • For degrees with a compulsory year abroad, e.g. Language Year Abroad for students of Modern Languages, the tuition fee for the year abroad will be significantly discounted and the final year will be tuition fee-free.
  • Students who are required to repeat a year of study will also be required to pay fees for the repeat year.

Financial Support for new RUK undergraduate students

RUK Access Bursaries for students from low-income households and RUK Excellence Scholarships for students attaining exceptional entry qualifications will be available.
