Papal Icon to be received at the University - TONIGHT

All are invited to a solemn mass, on Tuesday 4 May at 7pm, to mark the reception of the Icon Sedes Sapientiae from Pope John Paul

The 'Icon Sedes Sapientiae' is Pope John Paul's gift to the universities of the world. It will be received into the University Memorial Chapel on Tuesday 4 May, and a mass will be celebrated at 7pm to mark the occasion.

The Principal Celebrant will be Archbishop Mario Conti (Glasgow), and the Homilist will be Archbishop Patrick Kelly (Liverpool). The University Choir will participate.

Vice Principal Chris Morris will attend on behalf of the Principal. All are welcome, and are invited to a light buffet thereafter in the University's Catholic Chaplaincy, Turnbull Hall.
