In separate league tables, two of the University of Glasgow's Faculties were rated top.

Last year, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine had moved up to third place in the UK in the Guardian newspaper's university league tables. This year, Glasgow has been ranked best overall in the UK for the undergraduate teaching of veterinary science.

In addition, the Faculty of Medicine has been given the highest ranking in the UK for studying medicine according to a review in the Times Educational Supplement.
