Scottish Executive encourage collaboration between Universitites and small and medium-sized enterprises

The Scottish Executive has recently launched a new funding initiative called ScoRe. It is designed to encourage collaboration between Universities and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Scotland by supporting research and development projects.

The Dialogues team, as part of the Department of Reseach and Enterprise at the University of Glasgow, are pleased to invite you to find out more about SCoRe from Greg Allan, Head of the New Initiatives Unit at the Scottish Executive. On Tuesday 24 February 2004 between 12-2pm at the Wolfson Medical School, Greg will provide a detailed briefing on SCoRe and will be available to answer questions from the audience. The event will also provide a unique opportunity to network over lunch with SMEs interested in potential collaborative research projects and other academics from the University.

For more information see: Scottish Executive Website. Early reservation is advised as places are limited. To ensure you don't miss out, contact Louise Jackson at louise.jackson@enterprise.gla.ac.uk.
