The University of Glasgow is working with Leukaemia Research Fund to provide a major new research centre in the heart of Glasgow's medical community. The new Centre will be based at Glasgow's Gartnavel Hospital, occupying the entire third floor of a brand new purpose-built laboratory.

Following the success of the first ever LRF Glasgow Bikeathon event, when £33,000 was pledged in sponsorship, the next fundraising event will be an abseil from the University Bell Tower on Sunday 12th October. This event has proved extremely popular in the past so places will be allocated on a first-come,first-served basis. So, if you've always wanted to try abseiling but have never had the chance, don't delay!
