Are you a course coordinator or involved in the design or delivery of teaching at Level 01 (typically 1st years)? Do you want to share your experiences, challenges, and good practices with colleagues from different disciplines? Do you want to enhance your professional development and contribute to the enhancement of learning and teaching at UofG?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should join the Level 01 Course Coordinators Network (L1CCN)!
The L1CCN is an established community of practice that aims to support course convenors and other staff involved in Level 01 teaching across the university.1 The network meets several times a year to discuss topics such as curriculum design, student engagement, student experience, peer support, and much more. The network also has a Teams site where you can access resources, ask questions, and join discussions.
The L1CCN is open to anyone who coordinates a course or helps in the design or delivery of teaching at Level 01, regardless of your School or College. By joining the network, you will benefit from:
- Connecting with colleagues from different disciplines and learning from their perspectives and experiences.
- Contributing to the enhancement of learning and teaching at Level 01 and across the university.
- Having a voice in the decision-making processes that affect Level 01 teaching.
- Being part of a supportive and collaborative community of practice.
