As part of our 2024 Spring Fling programme, themed on New Worlds, join us for this family-friendly screening of the much-loved Disney Classic, Lilo and Stich.

Joining us to talk all things aliens and their distant planets will be Dr Andrew Spencer, a researcher from the University of Glasgow's Institute for Gravitational Research. He'll be posing questions such as, how do aliens communicate? and do gravitational waves have anything to do with it? There will also be a chance to see an artistic representation of gravitational waves, made by pupils from Cardonald Primary school.

Schedule

17:00 - 17:30: Talk from Andrew Spencer
17:30 - 17:35: Comfort Break
17:40 - 19:00: 'Lilo and Stitch' Screening
