However some knowledge of definitions and basic properties from Level 3 and 4 Algebraic
Topology/Geometry and Topology (topological spaces, connected components, fundamental group, homotopy of maps/homotopy equivalence) and basic knowledge of group theory (groups, subgroups, exact sequences) would be an advantage.
