Former UofG Professor and British Heart Foundation Chairholder.
The British Heart Foundation’s Associate Medical Director, Professor Jeremy Pearson, spoke to former BHF Chairholder and former University of Glasgow Professor, Stuart Cobbe, as part of their ‘In Conversation With...’ series.
Professor Cobbe was the BHF Walton Professor of Cardiology at the University of Glasgow from 1985-2008.
A (virtual) guest at Tighanoisinn, Stuart's home in the heart of Scotland close to the River Tay and the Cairngorms National Park, Jeremy walked with him through his remarkable career, from landing in Glasgow - via Cambridge, Oxford, London, and Heidelberg - to energise their clinical cardiology research programme, to launching the landmark WOSCOPS study, all while training his PhDs.
