GlasgowCAN (Glasgow Careers Alumni Network) brings together the expertise and knowledge of our global alumni community to help students current and future to realise their potential.

Help students to career success

Give advice online

Join our exclusive online platform called The Network.  By signing up you can make yourself available for students to ask you questions about your career and inspire them for life beyond graduation. There is also an opportunity for you to network with fellow alumni.

Sign up is easy and you can sync with your LinkedIn profile if you have one.  Click here for more information and to join The Network.

Offer an internship

By providing an internship in your company or organisation, you can help to shape the next generation of the graduate workforce.

The University of Glasgow Careers Service's Internship Hub has helped thousands of students gain relevant experience. The Internship Hub offers a range of paid internships and voluntary opportunities through 400 business partners, including large multinationals, SMEs, new businesses and charities.

It is free to join and businesses are fully supported by our staff to ensure effective advertising, recruitment and supervision. What's more, the Internship Hub has access to funding (on a matched basis) to help SMEs recruit an intern.

If you would like to discuss this further, email or on 0140 330 4518.
