Parents' Information Events
We are delighted that your son / daughter has expressed an interest in studying at the University of Glasgow. Starting university can be a daunting task for students and their guardians alike, therefore we have arranged a series of events around the country to help put parents/guardians in the picture with regard to Higher Education, the University of Glasgow and the surrounding city.
These events will contain a brief presentation followed by an opportunity for discussion on any matters you wish with staff and students from the University of Glasgow.
Our presentation will focus on:
- The University of Glasgow
- Academic Life
- Careers and Employability
- Student Support
- Accommodation
- Study Abroad Opportunities
- Student Life in the University and the City
- Student Finance
As space at the parent/guardian information evenings is limited, booking is essential for these events. To register your attendance, please complete the on-line booking form (linked below), thereafter more specific details of the event will be sent to you by e-mail. A maximum of 2 tickets per person will be issued due to limited seating. Please be advised that although students are welcome to attend these events, the emphasis is on providing student support, so it may not be hugely beneficial to prospective students.
The events will be held as noted below:
