International events for staff

We host a number of events for staff to find out about international activities and funding opportunities, including

  • regional briefings on international partnership and recruitment activity or
  • specific international opportunities for students and staff. 

Each will include a brief presentation followed by an opportunity to ask questions and meet with other staff working in the area. 

What to expect?

  1. Introduction and welcome (External Relations).
  2. The regional Dean for Global Engagement (or equivalent) will briefly set out key priorities and existing activity for the theme.
  3. Presentation(s) on specific opportunities (partnership development, mobility opportunities, funding opportunities, research applications).
  4. Chance to meet with the Dean for Global Engagement and other key contacts to ask questions.

Organising a GRAB event?

External Relations will provide organisational and financial support for staff interested in hosting a GRAB events. In the first instance please contact Geraldine Brown to discuss your idea.

As the host of the event you will be expected to manage:

  • Theme
  • Programme details
  • Presenters.
