The Gilchrist Postgraduate Club

Gilchrist Postgraduate ClubThe Gilchrist Postgraduate Club opened in October 2012 for PGT, PGR and University staff of the University of Glasgow. The club was designed to give students and staff ample space to both study and socialise in.

The Gilchrist provides a comfortable and friendly environment in which postgraduates can engage with one another on both social and academic levels. The club features a seminar room which can be booked out to host numerous events such as meetings, small lectures, research workshops or presentations. The seminar room can host around 50 seminar style seating and has tables that can be set up in board room style for meetings.

The Gilchrist also offers study booths which have integrated TV screens with AV connections, allowing students to link-up their laptops and display information onto the screen for everyone around the booth to see.

The club has its own cafe/bar with food and drink provisions, including Barista tea and coffee making facilities, a wide selection of hot and cold foods and snacks and a selection of alcoholic beverages, including bottled beers, wines and spirits.

Access is granted through a swipe card entry system using your GUID card.

You can find us at A26 on the campus map. The Gilchrist Postgraduate Club is numbered room 114 on MyCampus.
