Sandra Corr BVMS PhD CertSAS DipECVS FHEA MRCVS
After graduating from Glasgow, Sandra spent 6 years in small animal and equine practice in the UK, before taking a lectureship in Small Animal Surgery in Zimbabwe. On returning to the UK, she completed a PhD on gait analysis at the Roslin Institute (Edinburgh), and then a Residency in Small Animal Surgery at Glasgow University. She then spent 7 years at the RVC, becoming an ECVS Diplomate, and Head of the Orthopaedic Service. After 5 years at Nottingham Vet School, she has returned to Glasgow Vet School to take up a Chair in Orthopaedic Surgery. Aside from all things orthopaedic, her interests include functional anatomy (in relation to surgery and post-operative outcomes), veterinary ethics, and the human-companion animal bond.
