Roberto graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain in 2006. Following graduation, he performed there a Rotating Internship and after some time in general practice, he returned to the UAB to complete a Residency in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery between 2009 and 2012. On completion of his residency he moved to the UK and joined the Willows Referral Service as a Neurology Clinician. In 2014, Roberto became a board-certified specialist and in 2015 he joined the Neurology and Neurosurgery team at the University of Glasgow where he is now Head of Service. Roberto’s clinical and research interests include diagnostic neuroimaging, neurosurgery, intracranial pressure estimation methods, and neuro-oncology including the mechanisms of glioma immune evasion on which he is currently conducting a PhD.
