Ethnography Research Group
We are a PhD student led research group aiming to provide a forum for discussion about ‘doing ethnography’, for both PGRs and staff, and across all disciplines in the School of Social and Political Sciences.
We meet once every 6 weeks over lunch, with each session having a specific theme relating to ‘doing ethnography’, which may or may not involve reading a set text. We aim to provide a friendly and supportive environment for all researchers with interest in or experience of doing ethnographic fieldwork, to discuss the practicalities (and challenges) ethnographic fieldwork may pose.
If you are interested in getting involved, we would be very interested to hear from you.
