Ethnography Research Group

A PhD student led research group for postgraduate research students and staff in the School, aiming to provide a forum for discussion about ‘doing ethnography’.

Gender and Sexualities Forum

A forum for scholars pursuing research around the broad fields of gender and sexualities. We offer a creative intellectual space that provides a platform for developing new research ideas and collaborations as well as solidifying research agendas and sharing outputs.

Glasgow Latin American Research Network

A forum for staff and students across the university and people across the city to meet and share research and information relating to Latin America.

Scottish Centre for Crime & Justice Research

A collaboration of several Scottish universities, aiming to produce excellent research and to develop excellent researchers so as to better the development of policy, practice and public debate about crime and justice.

The forum is a network for staff and postgraduate research students across the University to share information, develop research ideas, and receive support in relation to gender based violence research.

Glasgow Quantitative Methods Group (GQMG)

The group promotes interdisciplinary use of quantitative methods in research & teaching. Group activities include a seminar series, occasional methods workshops, and short courses on various quantitative analysis techniques.
