Nick Kuenssberg OBE is an Honorary Professor in the Department of Management and an Honorary Professor in the Centre for Business History; he was raised in Edinburgh before going on to Oxford University and later Manchester Business School . Nick's 33 year corporate career saw international appointments in Europe and South America and corporate office roles based in Scotland as overseas finance director, regional director, divisional chairman and managing director and non executive director of many companies including Standard Life and Scottish Power; since 1995 he has pursued a portfolio career including many chairman and NXD roles, director of Scottish Legal Aid Board and deputy chair of Scottish Environment Protection Agency, chair of Glasgow School of Art and QAA Scotland. He is one of Scotland's most distinguished and influential business leaders with years of UK and international experience and is fluent in French, German, Spanish and Italian.
