Research interests

My research focuses on the cognitive and neural processes of language comprehension and conceptual processing. Two central questions are how experience shapes the conceptual system and which role experience-based simulation plays in language processing. To address these questions, I use behavioral methods (such as interference paradigms and continuous flash suppression), eye-tracking, neuroimaging, and work with congenitally blind participants.
