Ross Drysdale

My PhD project is concerned with the investigation, implementation, and development of technologies such as hyperspectral imaging and computational techniques in the area of retinal imaging, with the aim of yielding a marked increase in capability available to clinicians treating sight-threatening diseases, and furthering our understanding of the underlying physiology of the eye. I will be undertaking this work as part of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Integrative Sensing and Measurement, where I have completed a year of training in collaboration with the University of Glasgow and the University of Edinburgh. Prior to embarking on the 4-year CDT programme I obtained a BSc Hons degree from the University of Glasgow in Physics and Astronomy.
