Student Support and Social Programme

Student Support and Social Programme

The Student Support Team is delighted to welcome you to the University of Glasgow! We provide a support service for all pre-sessional students, helping you to familiarize yourself with university life and access the services you need. We also arrange an exciting social programme, filled with fun events and trips to destinations around Scotland.

Between October and June, pre-sessional students are invited to participate in Chat Club on Tuesdays and Thursday at lunchtime. Chat Club provides you with the chance to practice your spoken English in a relaxed atmosphere with your classmates and the Student Support Team. This is not an academic activity and you will not be graded on performance, but it is an excellent resource for improving your English. We also provide coffee, tea and biscuits for all attendees.

From July to September, Chat Club is on Monday to Friday at lunchtimes. All pre-sessional students are welcome to attend!
