Lynsay Crawford graduated from University of Glasgow in 1991. She completed GP training in 1995 and was a GP partner in Possilpark, a very deprived Deep End practice, from 1998 to 2018. She currently works as a GP in Falkirk.
She was a Vocational Studies tutor for eight years, teaching both year 1 and 2, and is currently involved in student electives in general practice and SSCs (student selected components) across all years. She became Deputy Director of Vocational Studies in 2014 and Director in 2020.
She was appointed the Lead for COMET in 2020. COMET (Community Orientated Medical Experience Track) is Glasgow’s innovative optional GP-focussed curriculum which began in 2019.
She is in the final year of her Masters in Medical Education
