The University of Glasgow and Singapore Institute of Technology are delivering a joint BSc Nursing (Hons).
The University of Glasgow and Singapore Institute of Technology are delivering a joint BSc Nursing (Hons). As part of the programme students spend 4 weeks in Glasgow studying and visiting health service providers. Dr Ann Marie Rice, Head of Nursing & Health Care said “We are delighted to welcome the students to Glasgow” and added that the clinical visits provide “a fantastic great opportunity to for health professionals to share experiences”.
The joint degree offers opportunities for staff, as well as students. Dr Clare McFeely, Lecturer in Nursing & Health Care recently delivered a course at Singapore Institute of Technology. “Teaching overseas was challenging but encouraged me to adopt different teaching approaches and techniques. It’s lovely to see the students again.”
